JOE JOHNSTON
Solicitor
Joe qualified as a solicitor with a 2:1 LLB Honours in October 1992.
Joe has worked at several law firms on the North West from National to smaller practices and spent 6 years in house for The Greenalls Group plc as a Senior Lawyer. He specialises in Commercial Property, Secured Lending and Land Development and has extensive knowledge of these areas.
He has undertaken several major schemes/developments mostly in the North West but occasionally nationally, including:

the original acquisition of a Hard Days Night Hotel in Liverpool

the acquisition for £3.2m of a site in Manchester and its forward sale with planning for £8m

the redevelopment of a regional bus company site into commercial units including funding arrangements and all leasing work

the acquisition and forward sale with planning for redevelopment into residential apartments of a former hotel in the south west.
Joe has a very commercial approach and most of his clients have engaged him for many years.

Sam joined Quinn Barrow in 2024 having worked in several other law firms and has 10 years’ experience assisting in the Commercial and Residential Conveyancing department. She currently works alongside Joe Johnston, a Consultant at Quinn Barrow.
Sam is friendly and upbeat, she has a client focused approach and a can do attitude
Outside of the office Sam enjoys spending time with her daughter, family and friends, going on holiday and attending music gigs and festivals.
